"...a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy," Justice Steven David, writing for the court, said.

By The Way -

Does it seem that Justice David is unclear on the concept of "public?" By all appearance, he believes Big Brother (even when admittedly operating beyond a lawful duty) is the public.

We're a nation of laws, and that has to be respected, right?

For those equally indoctrinated, removed from it all, deluded, or unclear, "public" is the guy shoved aside from his door, Tased, and arrested. Absent a vital emergency. Without any sound legal cause. By multiple armed government agents. After, presumably, a complaint from Mrs. Kravitz.

Justice David's recommendation, now with the added force of law, is for the citizens to relax, bend over quietly, shutup and take it. To minimize further violence.

Love to see the look on his face when they show up at his door. Oh, snap. That's right, it won't happen to him because he's not one of those, you know, people.

And this one probably should be linked with:

Indiana court upholds no-knock warrants

"... there are many circumstances in which police officers may enter homes without knocking, including concerns for officer safety, that a suspect may escape or that evidence may be destroyed."

Note that this one applies to warrants. So far...
